Prince Adedeji Soyebi- National Commissioner

National Commissioner Solomon Adedeji Soyebi is a blue-blooded prince of the Ikereku family of Egbaland in Abeokuta, Ogun State. An old boy of the famous Baptist Boys High School (BBHS), Abeokuta, Prince Soyebi, studied Chemistry at the University of Ibadan (UI). A respected Educationist, he has been instrumental to the moulding and mentoring of many youths.

As a great team player with deep knowledge of electoral matters, Prince Soyebi was appointed Acting Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), following the expiration of Prof. Maurice Iwu’s tenure. With several years of vast experience, he is no stranger to elections and the electoral process, having started off as a Resident Electoral Commissioner in Abia State. Before his appointment as Acting Chairman, he was the National Commissioner in charge of Electoral Operations.

Currently, a two-time National Commissioner; Price Soyebi supervises the Information and Voter Education Committee (IVEC). He relaxes by watching football and playing lawn tennis. He is happily married and blessed with Children.
