School Organises Drama To Promote Continuous Voter Registration In Zamfara

The Voter Education Club of Government Secondary School MUALLEDI, Maradun in Zamfara State on Wednesday 13th December organized a drama in the school compound, under the coordination of the Voter Education and Publicity (VEP) Desk Officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) office in the state.

The people of Maradun town were invited to watch the drama. The main theme was the importance of the on-going Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise and the collection of Permanent Voters Card (PVCs). It dwelt on how the traditional rulers can educate the people.

The Emir also invited all the District Heads, other title-holders (Masu Unguwa) and Heads of different tribes in his domain.  His Royal Highness expatiated on the importance of the CVR and the PVC as enumerated by the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Zamfara State, Dr Asma’u Sani Maikudi in her meeting with Traditional Rulers of the State.
